Stopped at a stop sign in winter conditions, started to move forward and then the lights came on.New Toyota owner here, I just picked up an ‘08 Tundra SR5 <143k miles. It has helped at lot, shifting 4Hi and 4Lo feels smoother and it so does engaging and disengaging 4WD.Had this problem a few months ago with my 2011. 4WD would flash, then eventually check engine light would come on and it would go in to limp mode. After some research, found it to be an issue with the air injection pump. There was a recall and I was able to get it fixed at no cost at the dealership. Definitely worth looking in to.

Solid Traction Control and ABS, with a synchronized blinking of the 4hi/4lo lights. Searched the forum and came across all kinds of causes. Finally had some time after work and the race to see if my scanner would pull any codes. After linking it up and hitting the ABS button on the scanner it pulled a CO210.

It wasn't a mechanical issue but a default described in the owners manual.
