I installed a saginaw 4 speed out of a pontiac astre (vega) in my 69 chevy shortbed.I used the factory pontiac shifter,which did not bolt to the trans,but it bolted to the floor of the vehicle.I did a little modifying on the shifter rods and bolted the shifter to the truck floor.4 speed saginaw overdrive conversion.
