I started in law enforcement when we carried revolvers in leather thumb break holsters and I’ve never gotten away from that habit. The magazine holder is also from El Paso and the my basketweave Ranger style belt is a no-name farm store special.To my surprise the Raptor II generated a stout but perfectly manageable recoil impulse. Credit the Kimber Ultra Stainless Raptor II’s weight, of course. But the .45’s textured wood grips also had a hand in the gun’s controllability (so to speak). My UCII 3" .45acp is exceptionally accurate. I think Kimber has some of the best triggers out of the box. No reliability issues or feeding/extraction issues with factory ammo - it has a ramped barrel which is a great idea in a pistol this size. Probably 2k rounds through it at this point, maybe a little more.
