Abs light on chevy silverado.
I have a 2004 chevy silverado with the 5.3. I Recently swapped trans and transfer case from a 2005 into the 2004. I went to go start it to try it. I can't shift out of first and I have no speedo and my abs light is on. Trans shifted great in the 05. Any ideas what it could be. I've read and read through the forums and couldn't find anything.
Take the controller inside to take apart. With a razor knife, slice around the edges of the metal lid. It is silicone that holds it on. There is 3 flat indentations on the metal lid, use a stiff putty knife or a flathead screwdriver to pry each indentation. I have a 2014 Silverado 1500, 5.3L V8, 4X4, LT with around 170k miles. Today when driving, it was mildly raining.
