This work will close the westbound span of the BWB from Canada to the U.S. During this closure both directions of traffic will be maintained on the eastbound span of the BWB, from the U.S. to Canada.
The function of this position is general bridge maintenance, building maintenance, road maintenance, and equipment maintenance activities as well as the continuing maintenance of state bridge decks, substructures, superstructures, snow plowing, freeway lighting, traffic signals, and roadsides at the Blue Water Bridge (BWB).
