You could make a seperate mobfarm and use Rosa Arcanas to get the xp from mobs that die (make sure the mobfarm drops player kill so you get the xp orbs) thats a pretty fast way to generate lots of mana. Yes, it is cool to make things fully automated, but Botania is not a "sit there and do everything all at once mod". Even the best mana generating setup can take 30 minutes to fill a pool.
