My approach would be through sseEdit. Load enb light first and then look at the files you want to keep from it and drag those into embers XD or make a separate patch. I use Embers XD (not Embers HD), outdoor fires like the huge camp fires at Giant camps di smoke, but not small interior flames like candles or fireplaces. Combine Embers with a compatible lighting mod and you can have fires emit smoke trails at all times, as well as have then effect the lighting.
