GE 5 attitudes have changed.. At least in my Guilds. It all started out, (including me!) with complaints. Everyone wrote"No way"etc. but now, most are working on doing GE 5 (who could finish GE 4) and many are completing GE 5 now, and getting the Forgotten Temple (which is still a huge gain to be added to any city) So at least in my Guilds...
Following the release on Beta of Guild Expeditions 5th level, we have seen a lot of questions and concerns about its difficulty. We would like to take a moment to clarify the design intentions behind this new level. I made a quick calculation for my guild on live server with 80 players and currently it would cost us about 6000 goods (1200 each for each good) for both difficulties and that just 1 week! Even opening just difficulty level II is a lot about 2000 goods ...Sadly, just adding a level that isn't worth the effort wasn't the extent of this change. They also significantly nerfed rewards on the existing 4 levels of GE. My takeaway from this change is that not only do I see no reason to bother with GE level 5, I also see less incentive to expend much energy on the first 4 levels.Aug 5, 2020. #1. I can finish the last level without any problems using negotiations, but it costs so much, I'll soon run out of goods. Generating this many goods each week seems impossible. The one aspect of the game that requires blue bonus is GE5 combat. It is completely pointless in every other inch of game code. Once you get to the top of PVP arena you always fight one NPC worth more points than the other two human players. You could fight Ebony if you had a city optimized for success in combat.

While it may be true that in 1 to 4 you are guaranteed the fragments of things you will be able to build, you are not guaranteed the diamonds. On the 11th encounter I died. I used the remaining seventy of my 30% Def boosts for a total of 150 of them and still could not defeat the 11th encounter. If they're going to make a GE level 5 they should at least make it possible!

I'm a guild founder and it won't let me unlock the second level expeditions. It takes you to what I assume is a list of all the goods in my guilds treasury with two numbers by each good (example iron 1455/12) which I assume you need to donate 12 iron to unlock iron portion of the total donation needed to unlock the expedition.
