The one in the gun is stiffer. The one that is extra is a weaker spring. If you’re having extracting issues use that. They make an even weaker one on eBay for like $8. I had to run that with my suppressor and subs and had zero issues. Since SIG Sauer is no longer being exported from Germany to the US, the Mosquito is no longer going to be available from SIG Sauer. SIG should have never put their name on that gun. It just isn't a good gun. But, GSG has announced that it will be exporting the gun to the US through ATI with the new name "GSG .22LR Firefly".
