The bags are great if you need to carry a lot of shards, but I never need to carry that many with me that I would tie up a bag slot with a shard bag. I would have rather had shards stack; even just stacks of 5 would have been nice. They are a bit like hunters using ammo pouch/quiver for their ammo/arrows, but at least then they get a speed increase with them.Ashes wasn't in the original loot bag, but if my tank/heals randomly get one from it I'd be extremely surprised and probably need to visit the doctor for a case of "it got too big too quickly". Of course, there were a lot of shortcomings in it - mail gets automatically deleted after a period of time, the mailbox only displays the 50 newest mail and even for characters on the same account, mail takes an hour ti be delivered.And hoping for a bigger bag and some reduction on the soulshard cost of spells.
