It's why he went fey sorcerer in kingmaker because burning hands>burning arc>fireball all have damage that hits and the worst that happens is half damage. Plus the pet but that's a given lol. Picked up Pathfinder a little while ago and found the kineticist to be quite interesting, so I am going to play them, but this is my first time playing with Pathfinder stuff, so I need help. I'm thinking about going melee with the water elemental focus, and for my feats took weapon finesse and martial weapons proficiency.Overwhelming soul is for CHA focus, which is okay if you dip elsewhere. Kineticist builds aren't too varied simply due to the fact that their class features rely heavily on staying single class. You can get away with taking a 1 lvl dip without losing much power so most folks go Monk, although I like to go Stigmatised Witch for the Mage Armor spell, +2 AC hex, +1AC familiar, plus fire immunity way later on (doesnt come online till lvl 19).
