1998 Xplorer 300. I mainly use this machine for haulin' deer, ice fishing or plowing driveway and recently I put a new battery in and it was draining it quickly. It starts if charged, and will pull start and stay running with battery charged or low, but measured voltage at battery running idle between 12-12.4V.

Aug 18, 2020 · Personally I wouldn't take a chance. I had a 96 300 Xplorer and the fan came on a lot when running hard. Towing will definitely heat it up quick. Dec 22, 2017 · It really smokes! There is an adjustment that can be made to regulate the amount of injected oil. When I bought my 2000 Xplorer 400, I had the dealer adjust it so it gets a little more oil than is called for in the service manual. After 10 minutes or so of riding, my machine smokes more than it should, too.
