Honda rancher turns over but won't start.
My son has a 2002 Honda 350 Rancher. He ran the oil down low on it. Was riding it one day, it quit on him. I checked oil, had very little. I added oil to fill it back up. Engine turnd over with electric start, has fuel to plug and spark at plug but will not run. It will occasionally backfire very load while turning engine over attempting to start.

You should see the fuel pump run for 2 seconds each time the ignition key is turned on. Fuel pressure should read between 48-53 lbs. If it is low the motor will not start and run. Check out section 4 and section 7 in the service manual. Take fuel cap off to make sure it is getting air to fuel tank. Check fuel valve to make sure it is on. Drain carb with screw on bottom of carb to check for water. Pull spark plug to make sure it is firing.
