Custom built Glock 43x Failure to go into battery/ failure to feed. I recently build a custom Glock 43x using zaffiri precision slide, zaffiri precision barrel, and Glock oem parts kit. The lower was a complete oem glock lower other than me changing out the trigger shoe and installing steel mag release. I use Shield 15rd mags.Adding my experience. Two Glock 43x. Glock store extended controls and mag release. Two S15 mags. Based on the 'bumps' photo above I guess mine are Gen 2. Both magazines in both Glock's have the same failures. 1. Failure to feed on slide release. 2. Failure to eject round one. Not quite a stove pipe, just stuck horizontally.Even then you likely cannot physically move the slide with similar force nor speed as a round firing. Those 43 springs are tight and short. They have to be to absorb more recoil from the small, light, slide. After 100rds or so, it’ll break in and smooth out. My problem is with an unloaded magazine in the gun if I pull the slide all the way to open locked position I can't close slide. It won't release by pushing the slide stop lever or pulling back a little more on the slide and releasing.

They are known to have this issue. You need to file the right screw down a few mm until it no longer screws onto your extractor spring pin. I literally went to an armorer today for this exact issue. 43x mos return to battery failures. My 43x is having problems. Many shots slide feels sluggish and slow. Several times it didn't ho into battery. This is with oem mags and 124 grain ammo.
