Kapybara/Peccary are pretty common in the jungle and they give a lot of meat and bones that both give Protein AND Fats (fish only give protein.) You are better off using fish and prawn traps but fishing doesn't seem that useful really. We pretty much live off Kapy/Pec meat and if it gets lean we rely on bird/cat/caiman meat and nuts/coconuts.
