Tbh, I can't help but wonder why there aren't more places like it. There's got to be a way to make a simple ski hill near cities like Atlanta, chatt, huntsville, Nashville, etc. Put it on a north facing slope that gives you ~200' drop total (Maybe as much as 300'). Maybe add a barrier along the top that shades the snow.
