So if a cartridge has a gram in it and tests 87% total cannabinoids that means 87% of that gram is cannabinoids. That leaves 13% for terpenes and other constituents leftover in the cartridge. Doesn’t expire but overtime the oil oxidizes which causes the thc to convert to cbn then the terpenes also lose quality over time. Terpenes start to go stale and lose its flavor/smell. For me, I've found the best way to do it is to hold the cart up to my lips and simply inhale for 3-4 seconds, just like I'm taking in a nice deep breath without inhaling a cart. And then hold it for a few seconds (probably no longer than 5 seconds, you don't need to hold it for too long to feel it.) How tight do you put on your cart?
