You'd also want atleast 27.5 inch wheels which I find is better to use for trail riding compared to 26 since it'll roll over obstacles much easier.

The bike came in a box, with everything pre-built, except, the Front-tire and pedals. It was fairly easy to do it, all-by-myself too, just unscrew and screw the front tire back in. There's also a youtube video by decathlon on how to build it, and overall a super easy bike, that even beginners can build on their own.
