Is archer or uworld better.

Multi test taker here too. I have both and it’s hard because I love the rationales of u world but the questions aren’t nearly as vague as the nclex was. Archer is more similar in that sense. Archer qs are worded almost exactly like NCLEX; it is amazing. It is also focused; they do not go into too much that you do not need. I think this is the key to prep, which I missed on my past two attempts just with uworld and saunders. I am now doing Archer qbank, Archer webinars, and Mark k for contents. 2.I started doing more Archer because I used up my assessments on Uworld. I’ve notice the questions are REALLY different between Uworld and Archer and curious which one was more like NCLEX, especially since I only have a couple days left to study. Anyway I’ve scored Very High-High on assessments, passed CATs, and 75% done of Archer Qbank …The actual nclex is nothing like uworld questions. I hate uworld with a passion. I had a 58% with their qbank (hold on to that thought.) The second time i did archer and Nclex high yield for prep. Archer questions are extremely similar to the real thing. I did way better on archer questions than uworld. I failed at 145.

Archer without a doubt. Archer Qs are the shortest and vaguest like exactly what we see on NCLEX. If you ever taken exam before, you would know what I meant. Spending too much on Uworld and not finding any Qs like shown on Uworld was a shocker for me. I failed my first attempt though I got high on Uworld assessment.I definitely liked uWorld better. The rationales are amazing, I learned a lot from them. uWorld was my primary question bank. I only used Archer for the readiness assessments. I will say that NCLEX questions are absolutely nothing like uWorld. uWorld gives you a whole book for a question, multiple sentences where NCLEX is just giving you one ...

Archer’s questions are more straightforward but I have found mistakes in their rationales. They also have CAT’s which is a plus. On the other hand, UWorld is challenging and detailed and it was much better for me to learn the content. UWorld has a team of health professionals who write the questions and rationales so I find the information ... I’ve used UWorld, Archer, and Bootcamp. Uworld is good for content, Bootcamp is good for understanding NGN questions, and Archer is worded similarly to the NCLEX. Also, Archer has unlimited assessments and starts at $59 for a month if you just purchase the qbank with assessments. Archer does have a demo mode if you want to see how it is.The only critique I have heard of AMBOSS questions is that sometimes they can be more "nitpicky" and throw in a ton of red herrings so they can be more difficult than the UWorld questions and even the shelf questions. Ive done about half the uworld QBANK and have a 54%. I've done about 20% of Archer and have about a 54% as well. I know these scores arent horrible and just average, but im not improving. I do 75 questions on Uworld everyday and 75 on Archer. My last 4 quizzes on uworld in order: 70%, 48% , 65%, 45%.. as you can tell this makes no sense.

May 14, 2020 · Definitely UWorld over archer any day. Like stated above, maybe in time archer will get better but it’s not great, hence how they can give it away for free/ sell it so cheap. Nobody would pay for the quality that it is currently. Go with UWorld.
