Sep 15, 2014 · Sep 15, 2014 / Stihl FS 38 Won't start. #1. Can't get this trimmer started: Took out spark plug to check to make sure there was spark and YES there is. Looks like there's fuel getting into the cylinder because plug looked wet. Took spark arrestor out and looked dirty and haven't put it back in yet. Inspected air filter and didn't look to bad.
Instructions: Loosen and remove the bolts on the trimmer head. Remove the worn blades. Add grease around the bolts. Insert the replacement STIHL PolyCut™ blades into the head. Insert and tighten the bolts to hold the blades firmly in place.
