Turn key and nothing happens but lights work.

I have a 2008 Sportsman 500 that randomly won't start with the key anymore and won't even try to turn over. I started it to plow the other day, drove around, turned the machine off for a couple of minutes, went to turn it back on and nothing. Not even a click at the solenoid. I pull started it and it worked fine.There is power to the cigarette lighter/power port. The interior light works fine. The lights won't go on. Nothing works at the control panel on the left nor the turn key on the right. Both completely dead. I looked at all the connections to the control panel and turn key and they are all good. Very simple my friend, you need to clean the terminals on the battery and the connection. If you go to Kragen or AutoZone, they sell this battery terminal cleaner for only $1 or $2. Its a 2 in 1 tool. Once your terminals are clean, you won't have that problem again. Usually new ignition switch, will not have the key insert with it, you insert that, into the new switch. You might need a new key insert, for your switch, that wiggling, kinda indicates that.
