The frame has been split into separate forward and grip components — metal and polymer. The forward frame is made of steel on the P model and aluminum on the C2 model. The grip module and trigger guard areas are constructed from polymer.My advice would go staccato and staccato p at that. (Better mag selection and only slightly bigger) The VP9 is great no doubt but the staccato tracks soooo flat. I own Staccato P, C2 duo, & XC. Also have the WC Xperior and EDC X9 double stack. All fantastic double stack 1911’s. My favorite though is Atlas Gun Works NYX v2. My dream EDC carry weapon. Its flatter shooting than the staccato XC Any freaking day of the week. Staccato XC is second best in personal opinion.
