Did not buy on amazon but have a 12k badlands came on my jeep when I bought it. Looks to be a year or two old but the winch failed the first time I used it pulling maybe 1000lbs for less than 1 minute. Worked sporadically for 15 seconds then quit altogether. Judging by the symptoms the electric motor has failed.
