3012 has a bad rep because CS majors need to take it. As a math major it’s pretty standard fare, if you have a really solid math background it’s completely manageable. To theory thread students : How does one ever manage to get classes for the "Advanced Mathematics" classes i.e. MATH 4022 or 4032 or 4150? Every semester, each of these courses is either full with 20 seats capacity in one or two sections and all other sections are 0 capacity, or is just not offered in that semester.

Well, I am an alum (2001) , not a student, but here are some things I love about GT: Being associated with an institution that is constantly on the leading edge of research and innovation. There are a ton of smarties at Tech doing great things with the support of the school. They make me very proud and motivate me to do my best.For reference, I'm a mechanical engineer w/ 2yoe working in my field, currently enrolled in KBAI as my first course, and thoroughly enjoying it.

You can't take but about 15 hours at most if you want a 4.0 so that's going to be a lot of semesters. I don't know particularly in the MSAE program, but based on the fact book the college of engineering for grad school has a higher acceptance rate than undergrad. In the fall of 2021, the grad engineering school had a 44.4% acceptance rate, while undergrad accepted 15.1% of those who applied.
