Yeah beam rifle is hands down better, constant beam damage, 100% accuracy, fast mod power building and also you get to choose a mod. When using radiant set + devour loop, you can use swarm mod which will easily grant you 10 stack radiant buff and do tons of damage . Then you can have hunters mark in secondary for higher crit chance.
