Marlin 336 35 rem review.
The last rifle is a Marlin 336 Texan Deluxe delivered last week. Somehow the factory installed nice but plain walnut stock and fore end, instead of the Grade B wood as advertised. Marlin customer service was very responsive and agreed to replace the plain wood with the fancier wood. My call was on the 5th and delivery is to be today, the 8th.

PRODUCT INFORMATION & SPECS. The Marlin Model 336 is a lever action centerfire rifle and carbine produced since 1948. It is distinguishable from its predecessor the Model 36 by its open side ejection port and features a steel flat top receiver chrome-plated breech bolt and takedown design. Micro-Groove barrel rifling was implemented in 1956.
