Why is my 4lo light flashing tundra.
Since my last comments, car has had 3 more episodes (in less than 100 miles) of dash lights flashing and no 5th gear - either just the 4 Lo flashes or the 4-Lo flashes plus skid, and check engine light all activated. Turning off engine didn't help. Anyway, yesterday, within 1/2 mile of starting car, had above 3 warning lights come on.
Oct 3, 2018 · If one switch sticks the warning light will flash because it doesn't know if it is in 2 or 4 or both at the same time. In my case it was the forward switch sticking causing the truck to still think it was in 4wd. Thus the confused flashing light. The part was about $90 at Toyota. It looks to be a $30 switch to me. I have a 2013 tundra that has just a little over a hundred thousand miles on it. Last week I started it and the check engine light and trac off light came on and the 4lo light is blinking.
