After two decades of keeping my arthritic hands strong I finally had to give in and go to 380. I loved the Security 9 Compact. It was a great shooter, great size for CC. And with a 15 round magazine in it I always felt secure.I recently bought my wife a Ruger Security-9 for protection. When I first inspected it, I found it was really hard to get the slide stop to set, but was told it would loosen up with firing, and slingshot worked fine. After about 300 rounds, it's easier to set the slide stop. But the problem is the slide "locks out" on last round.11 minute read. I had about 4 different brands of ammo, Blazer Brass, Fiocchi, Federal and WWB. The little pistol did well with all of them, no failures of any kind.
