Just got an AP5 and going to SBR it. Gonna do the eform1this week god willing the site is still up. So on to the question. Manufacturer is MKE and country is Turkey correct? Or do I use importer Century Arms and USA? Also I have a Wolfman and going to use a tri lug. There is a 1/2x28 threaded end with a thread protector on it.
Anyone SBR a Century AP5? If so, what did you put down for manufacturer, place of mfg, model, and length? Feb 7, 2024 · So I have an AP5-P SBR. I typically will shoot with my rugged obsidian 45 on the 3 lug mount in the short configuration. I shoot anything from 115gr to 147 gr subs. I have been contemplating changing out the locking piece. I know this subject is pretty beat to death across forums, but I just can't seem to find a clear answer on it. HG6034-N. Zenith zf5- customer service is just as good as ptr. The finish looks loads better than ap5 and the carakote is going to be more durable. The gloss carakote looks more sp5 ish. Not made on hk tooling but idk if that really matters in 2022. Cost 300$ more than the ap5 core.
So if you decide to keep the gun as a pistol, or form 1 it as an SBR, you’ll have plenty of options. Century Arms AP5 and AP5P three-lug and flash hider. The ARs are both engraved on the side of the lower and the Scars are engraved on the side of the upper (all aluminum surfaces). After engraving I was left with shiny text.
