I think supernote has better features than Rm2 due to the openness. Just plug in to USB port an done! Ratta is developing more and more features (at a very slow pace Indeed but better than nothing). Better handwriting recognition is on the works.
Remarkable has only 3. Air has 30 or more. Squares, Circles, Lines (my favorite), Triangles make diagramming SO MUCH EASIER! The tool palette doesn't overlay the page like Remarkable's does. Lot's more adjustments to lot's more stuff. For instance, Remarkable doesn't allow scrolling because of how they refresh.The Supernote A6 also has a 7.8 inch screen is using E Ink Carta HD and Mobius. So a Supernote A5X, Remarkable 2, iPad Pro etc were out. 7-8 inch devices were for me the perfect balance between portability and screen size, but for others, they may find the screen size too small to do what they need (e.g. using the device as a daily planner using pre-made pdf templates, which tend to be friendlier for A5-size devices).A6X next to a Moleskine notebook (and glasses for an extra reference point) The screen is shorter than the notebook but roughly as wide. I've had both the Remarkable 2, the Supernote A5X, and the Supernote A6X. Ended up selling the Remarkable and A5X because the portability of the A6X won out in the end. The Remarkable is absolutely superior hardware and feels solid and quality, and it does feel closer to writing on paper than the A6X.
