I've been trying for three months to buy a second desk (Linnmon in black/brown) to match my current desk. I have it saved in my cart on my account and 3-5 days a week, I check the cart to see if I can buy. I've checked my local IKEA and and all the IKEA's within a 5-6 hour drive (Chicago, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Columbus, etc).Lo and behold, they discontinued the LINNMON line and the replacement line doesn't have the curved corner piece - or any corner piece for that matter. :( Is there anything at all that fits and that will work? So the replacement for LINNMON is called LAGKAPTEN and most of it will be arriving in US stores next week or the week after due to there being such a shortage in LINNMON, they decided to push the changeover articles out to stores early. Not all LINNMONs are April 1 discontinue date, a few are August 1 disc so those will continue coming to stores.Does anyone know if the Linnmon replacement will offer a corner desk like Linnmon did? And for the new Alex, will there be a file drawer option like before? I understand if no one knows yet. I'm just trying to figure out if I am ok to just wait for the new pieces in April/whenever or if I need to keep checking inventory every day.
