So this is an image taken from a rather old game that I had played a while back. Like the title mentions, somebody had posted having a neutron star chokepoint and that reminded me of this game. The pulsar chokepoint is the highlighted system Iresta. Edit: I should probably mention that this game was started before the 3.0 update.

Neutron stars look like stars with a circle around it, but now that neutronium is no longer a luxuary resource, i dont know if theres that much need for it, might give some science though. Im not sure if its more likely to find habitable planets in some stars over others. Overall i dont think it matters too much how the star looks like.
