Ah I did build the hi ninja bludgeoner back in the switch days, it's an outlier because the sword has 100% base affinity which translates to a flat damage boost, which gets boosted by both bludgeoner and crit boost. It won't be nearly as effective on any other weapons without investing in a lot of crit skills to match that baseline
