Great that you asked, because every amethyst you see in my inventory was mined while playing WoW. Not sure about LoL, feel like that's a lot more click/focus intensive. Amethyst is great though. Get the ring and Varrock elite to make it even more afk.

Surprised no one mentioned this, but mining Daeyalt Essence is my go-to afk mining spot. While not really afk, it only requires 1 (maybe 2) clicks every 50-ish seconds. Slow exp compared to other methods, but you can use this essence to train runecrafting as well. I believe it has 1.5x exp that normal pure essence rune crafting gives. I've done 1m xp at anglers/infernals and 16m xp at sacreds. I prefer sacreds (obviously) because you get 110% of your fishing as cooking xp, the gp isn't what it used to be but I think Eels are king for afk and infernals>sacreds for raw cash. I always found banking anglers annoying, prefer afk karambwans, but bots have tanked those to hell, haha.You could also do crystal implings.
