SOURCE: polaris 90 atv does not have spark the coil tested. check the trigger coil inside the stator cover. sometimes these go bad and will not pick up a signal from the flywheel to send to the coil for spark. you can find complete stator assemblies quite cheap on ebaymotors.com that come with the trigger coil.

I ran it till it died. they fixed that problem. then it started to do the same as yours. And also while running down the road about 30 to 40 mph it would die.
