I’m debating on whether or not to do a pure Arcane or an Arcane/Skill build. From what I understand, if I cap my build at 150, I could pump levels into my Arcane stat even past 50 and still get a nice AR increase in a maxed out LHB or Kos Parasite. On the other hand, I could go 50 Arcane/50 Skill and use the Burial Blade. If you're going for a more Maria/Rakuyo build however I'd reverse that: Skill at 50 and BT at 25 (or however high you want to take it.)

However, you do want an alternative source of damage besides your main weapon, and most guns have poor scaling regardless of bloodtinge outside of cannon, which is a strength weapon, so go with whichever has more arcane so you can at least equip and get something out of magic items. Consider at least 18 arc for Augur. With transformed weapons you'll be unable to parry with a firearm but Augur will open up visceral attacks for you. Visceral attack damage should be amazing on a skill build.
